Mr. Tanim Khan is solely responsible for the Chamber’s Corporate and Commercial matters. He advised both domestic and international clients on joint ventures, collaborations and technology transfers; assisting in obtaining statutory permission and sanctions from various regulatory and government bodies, departments and agencies. In past years he worked in Corporate & Commercial law, Power Sector, Banking & Finance, Law of Intellectual property, Real Estate & Environmental law, Taxation. Formation of companies, Mergers, takeovers and acquisitions, Corporate reorganizations and reconstructions, Liquidations, Foreign investment proposals, Corporatization and privatization, Joint ventures, Asset acquisitions, Trade arrangement and technology transfers International trade, Aviation, Oil and gas industry contracts and developments, Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) and other energy projects, Water resource contracts and projects, Telecommunications and satellite, transaction including basic, cellular and satellite system, Broadcasting law and policy, Data communications, computer and information, and technology etc. He is also working as consultant of World Bank, Dhaka office.

Beside these he possesses a widespread knowledge in the contracts relating to Power Sector, ie. Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), IA, Finance Agreement, formation of JVC/ SPVC, project financing, Investment related documentations including the matters related to Board of Investment and Banking and Financial sectors. He is possessing expertise in Power Sector negotiations both in Bangladesh and abroad.My experience as an advocate relates to litigations involving wide range of issues, such as banking, commercial contracts, shareholders‟ disputes and other corporate matters, commercial crime, commodities and futures, construction, employment, insurance, insolvency, debt recovery etc.

Over the years, as an Advocate Supreme Court of Bangladesh, Mr. Tanim Khan has developed his expertise in Writ Jurisdiction and in litigation of civil nature, including civil revision, civil appeal and the disputes relating to company, custom, vat, and income tax issues. He is also responsible for the chambers civil matters.
